We're kicking off our weekly Two Wheel Tuesday’s series, where you ride in on any two wheels and we'll give you $2 off a pint. It's a great inner city stop on the way to where ever you're headed.
Maker's Market
@raspypdx has done it again, bringing art, vintage items, and wild collectibles together for a Makers Market of epic proportion.
Join us on Friday, May 3rd from 5pm–10pm for more than a dozen vendors showcasing their artwork and collectibles. You can finally find the perfect gift you've been looking for, fill an empty shelf at home, or get yourself a little treat.
Admission is free! Get yourself a pint and a pixxa from @panconquesopdx then peruse the goods in our brewery and warehouse spaces while our bud @discuseek spins some sweet vinyl from 7pm–10pm. There will be something here for everyone!
Farm to Market Release Party with Zupan's Markets
We love @zupansmarkets, so we were thrilled when they asked if we'd like to create a beer to celebrate their Farm to Market series, bringing wonderful local providers to the public. We've created a Japanese-Style Lager, a delicate and nuanced rice lager. Tettnang and Audacia Hops contribute delicate notes of rose and lilac, with hints of citrus and spice.
The Zupan's crew will be in house from 5pm–8pm. We'll have our Farm to Market beer ready to pour and we've put together a little giveaway to say thank you to our community! Each beverage purchased gets you a raffle ticket. We'll announce the winner at the end of the evening and the winner will receive gift cards from Zupan’s Markets & Living Häus Beer Co. with a 4-pack to take home.
Cinco de Mayo & Frank with Lime Release
We think we've created a pretty great space for celebrating Cinco de Mayo and we're convinced that we've created a stellar beer for the occasion. We release Frank with Lime today and for this day only (maybe) we're makin' Micheladas! Frank is our Mexican Lager and this time, we added the lime for you. It pairs perfectly with the newest pixxa, a deconstructed Chile Relleno, from @panconqueso.
Our Mexican Lager started as a standard German Pilsner but we tweaked it just a bit to make it truly unique. We used our Haus pilsner malt which accounts for about 80% of the grain bill, then threw in a few bags of flaked corn and one bag of Vienna malt. This creates a light and slightly sweet mouthfeel. We used a blend of classic and new wave German grown hops like Hallertau Mittlefruh and Mandarina Bavaria to add otherwordly aromatic quality. The results of these additions provide orange peel and slightly herbal aromatics. This beer is sharp, dry, and full of citrus character and we can't wait to share it with you.
Frank Rossello was a generous and fun loving human being who raised two boys with his wife Deborah in Sylmar, CA. He loved teaching his sons, along with his nieces and nephews, about sports, music, and inside jokes. He had the best laugh and it was contagious. Cheers to tio Frank.

He's an expert in creating community in this industry and we're stoked to have him in house with a couple of his favorites. 4/20 Tie-Dye Party
Bell-bottoms, jam bands, velvet posters and tie dye t-shirts? Ooof. This could very well be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, people. Collectively, they could bring about the end of times, you know? But, if we had to choose one to keep the spirit of below average musicians alive, like if we had to, it's gotta be tie-dye. Let's all meet up at the brewery on 4/20 and get arts and crafty with a groovy tie-dye party of our own. But with great music playing and great beer pouring!
Whether or not you celebrate, we're throwing a colorful party of our own, and you're invited! We'll have two limited edition t-shirts that you can tie-dye on-site and we'll be tapping a new West Coast IPA that will definitely fit the vibe of this party.
We’ve wrapped our pre-order for this event, but will have some shirts in various sizes available for day-of purchase. Come hang with us, and maybe you'll make some of your own creative discoveries!

Yoga + Beer
Bring your yoga mat over to our Häus! Yoga + Beer is bringing us a Sunday morning all-levels yoga practice led by Y+B Instructor, Seville Strickler. This 60 minute practice takes place in our tasting room before we open to the public, followed by a post-class pint with your fellow yogis.
$23 for Yoga + your first pint. $17 for Yoga only.
We recommend registering in advance. If you would like to drop-in for class, we will do our best to make space for you.
Neighborhood Night
We want to welcome all of our neighbors to Living Häus Beer Co.
Join us on a lively Friday night, as Creative Director, Mat, walks you through the tasting notes on five of our beers, from a couple of cherished classics to a few of our newest creations. We want to share some of our foundational thoughts around brewing and the design of this space, and give you some good points of reference with a taste!

Barrel-Aged Beer Release
Join us on Saturday, April 6th at the tasting room for the release of our very first barrel-aged beer release! We have a stellar 14% Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with cacao nibs and coconut flakes added to it that we've dubbed Gracie Law.
This beer was brewed in early 2022 and aged in Blanton’s Bourbon barrels for two years with our pals at Great Notion. We added Philippine coconut flakes and hand-toasted cacao nibs to this already stellar beer for funsies. Gracie Law will be tapped at noon on 4/6.
Welcome Spring with Flower Power
Join us for an evening celebrating the arrival of Spring! Howdy Slow Poke will be offering spring inspired stick and poke tattoos, D's Doodles can draw a rad portrait of you and a friend, get a piece of permanent jewelry by CatherineVBeauty, and Newks will bring the heat with their locally made hot sauce. These items are all for purchase, and make sure to get here early if you want to add your name to either artists' list!
Missionary Chocolates and Lil' Funky Donuts will have free treats for you to try, but there will be a raffle for the grand prize—each beer you buy gaining you a ticket. The first 10 guests to arrive will receive a special goodie bag with items from some of our favorite local businesses: Kate's Ice Cream, Shwop, Chistina @ Skin by Lovely, Cadejo Coffee, and more.

We'll have @awwwsin @codyzeek @grandparoadkill and @yokel.tattoo in the Häus with beer, bar, and brewery specific flash tattoos available from 4pm 'til 10pm. Each design will be from $50–$100 and will be first come, first served. Keep an eye on our stories this week for samples of their designs.
We'll also be launching our Häus Happy Hour! This includes $1 off every beer purchased from 5pm–close for all our guests, along with pixxa specials from @panconquesopdx and deals on selected to-go beer.
Come down next Monday and make some permanent decisions. Good or bad, it's up to you.
La Femme Fromage Presents a Beer & Cheese Tasting
We've got a special treat for you all next Friday evening. We're going to be hosting a guided beer and cheese tasting with Ellian from @lafemmefromage and Mat from Living Häus.

Nebuleus Collab Release Party
Our pals @nebuleusbeer will be having a bottle release and pick-up party in our tasting room at 12pm. And guess what? It's our collab!
We will have draft of "I Would Like a Refund" on tap starting at noon. Get pumped.
A long time ago, we brewed a batch of our Italian Pilsner, Castorini, and we took just enough from that batch to fill a single gin barrel that Nebuleus then worked their magic on. Their house-mixed culture along with a dry hop of Saphir and Spalter Select truly transformed Castorini into something even more beautiful. Come try our beer and pick up your pre-ordered bottles next weekend! Bottle pickups will be from 12–2pm and draft will be flowing as long as it lasts!
