There are people that come into our lives now and then that leave such an impact that we have to adjust our way of thinking about, well, everything. These are people that you should seek out and grow with in our opinion. One such person that we’ve had the honor of knowing like this was Barnaby Struve.

Barnaby was a force to be reckoned with in the craft beer world for sure, but the impact he had on his fellow human beings in everyday life as a friend, an artist, and a collaborator was far more interesting. To share time with Barnaby was always an adventure, and I mean that in every sense of the word. If you’d met him even once, I guarantee you’ve still got that story to tell about what transpired during that encounter. If you’ve got many stories from years and years of friendship then you surely agree on his pivotal role in keeping things interesting in life. We hope everyone gets a chance to meet and experience this world with equally interesting people that impact them in a positive way.

To keep the spirit of our friend Barnaby going we’ll be hosting a memorial art show in the brewery next Friday, November 10th from 6-10pm. This is a casual viewing of a variety of his artwork from his youth up to his final pieces of art. We’d like to thank his nephew, Sonny, for the inspiration and the help curating this showing.
